This course is based on such professional codes of practice that represent a cross-boundary approach to construction project management by incorporating working practices and policies from across the construction industry; encompassing clients, architects, engineers, quantity surveyors, builders, specialist contractors and the major professional institutions.
This six week course reflects the structure of the code and the project management process itself, addressing project management stages and issues. This course is designed for those who will use the code of practice in the workplace and also those who wish to understand best practices in project and construction management.
After the course the Participant should;
- Be an expert on the structure and content of the Code of Practice for Project Management
- Understand and apply in practice project management principles, tools and techniques followed by key international players in this field
- Understand how project management processes deliver successful projects
- Know the roles and guide the principal actors in the project management process towards successful performance in their respective projects
Be able to develop a project management plan and execute it
